Hilo, Hawaii – Saam Fu Chinese Cultural Arts had the honor of taking our first interisland team trip to help celebrate Chinese New Year in Hilo. Hundreds of shoppers at the Prince Kuhio Plaza were eager to line up and feed the lions as they made their way to bless over fifty stores and offices to ring in the Year of the Dog. It was a great team experience and the reactions of the crowd to our lion dance made every ounce of sweat and effort worth it.
